I have a ks-tvs50 voice mail processing system connected to a kx-td1232 PBX. Whenever someone calls the auto attendant from the outside and enters this particular extension, all the digital phones (kx-t7431) announce the call for this line. I've tried using the features where go into the mail...
Hello,
I have a kx-td1232 PBX with a kx-tvs50 voice mail system. There is a user who has an analog phone connected to the system using one of the extensions. When he picks up the phone, it has beeping and tone that to him signals he has message waiting on his voice mail. However, he has not...
The extension does exist on the 1232 and so I installed it as an XDP. However, upon doing such, the other extension related to it rings and not the XDP.
Is there a way to install a voice mail box on a kx-tvs50 without needing an actual phone? I want people to be able to call an extension and have it go straight to voice mail without the need for a phone. Then we can use another phone to call the auto attendant at 165 to pick up messages for...

btw, the new voice mail system works great!
The system came with Db9 serial port male and attached to that is a special jack with a db9 serial female on one end and an rj45 female on the other. The computer has the same jack that goes into the serial db9 male port in the computer. I have cat 5 connecting the 2. I did see that the dip...
You're right, you guys. I'll just wait. Thank you all for the info.
Once I get my replacement, will it be just a plug and play or will I have to configure the new system. I've never worked with this system other than through programmator on the kx-td1232.
