Within IE if you use an _ in DNS then this is not seen in IE.
For example we had http://intranet_test and that does not work (We only used that to build the Test Intranet since we already have one)

Hey Dan, thanks for the reply.
We don't use Proxy and the setting are clear, I am one of the Domain Admin here, we do have Group Policy's but nothing on the IE side.

Hi, we are having a problem with IE.
If you put the IP address in the Browser it works
If you put the host name it does not work.
In Firefox everything works fine no problems with the Host name.
DNS is fine, Pings Fine by name, NSLOOKUP is fine...
I think it may be a problem with 2003 R2...
