Computerjin,
Thank you very much for the suggestion, I tried it, but it doesn't like deleting anyting on a remote server. Continues to give me the error message "Verify files exist in the specified directory.
Good Day,
I have a web farm and am trying to create an application that will copy, del and move files from one location to all the web servers. I am able to do everything but delete files.
This is the statement I use:
Shell("del \\wp1\c$\apps\bppr\2006\catalog\*.* /F /S /Q"...
Greetings.
A little background. I inherited a webfarm running 2003 Standard, and a website that runs off of it normally. When I installed SP1 on a test server, the page loads, but when I click the next button, nothing happens. It fails to do anything.
It has ASP.Net 1.1 w/SP1 IIS 6.0...
I have a 2003 web server that is running IIS6 ASP.net 2.0.
I have set an Environment Variable on the server called EV which = PWQC
I have a web.cofig file with the following line
<item name="Presentation.EnvironmentType" value="DITUAT"/>
I have tried the following

Thank you very much for your help. KMcferrin, I asked the same thing from my client. I don't think they were seeing the entire aspect of what they wanted. Currently I am just going to disable the account via GPO's and they will have their InfoSec personell delete the accounts after a tme period.
Good Morning,
I have a remote client running W2K3 AD. The client would like to have users that have not changed their password after 120 day from its last expiration date. Does AD have the ability to do this?
Thanks.

TheAceMan1,
Thanks for the code, now I am going to ask what is probably a very stupid question, but, where do I put this code. I am actually using Access 2003 to input the data, not using a web page. I have never tried to put SQL code into actual access. Thanks for the help and the answer.
I have a database with 8 Tables, Table 1 has the Primary key of User Id, each of the other 7 tables have this same field. I have a form that I fill out that gives basic info about a user to include the user ID, is there a way to take the User ID info from table 1 and make it fill in the other...
Ben,
Thanks for the tip, although what I am looking to do is create a binder like feature in 2003. I want to be able to compile both word and excel documents into one "document" without really creating one document and doing OLE with the Excel files.
I realize that Microsoft took Binder out of Office 2003, but I was wondering if there was an equivalent function that I can use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the link. Although when I did go into FDISK to check on it, I only saw the primary disk, it didn't show the slave. I am going to try and see if just using the bad disk will allow it to show up in fdisk
I have a hard drive in with the MBR went south on. Not wanting to destroy the data that is already on there, I put a new HDD in the computer and installed XP on it. I figured I would just slave the old HDD and retrieve the information I needed off the drive. This isn't happening. The BIOS...
Actually, that is one of the very first things I tried to do, but it just flat didn't work. It wasn't liking the mirror that I had in place at the time.
IBM indicated that they would "look into" updating the BIOS, but the guy on the phone said it would probably be a year or more before it...
Marcs41,
Thanks for the post. I have a IBM Netfinity 5500 with the most current BIOS revision. After talking with IBM they told me the BIOS doesn't support the Server 2003 disk. I installed 2000 Server first then upgraded. This work perfectly. Just thought I would post what worked in case...
Joseph,
Thank you very much, the guest account worked. It has been a while since I took the Advanced Server 2000 course, and I completely forgot about the guest account.
This will help me out greatly!!!!
I have a 2003 Server in a Standalone mode. I log into our network via Novell server. My question is this. Is there a way to allow people to see a shared folder on the 2003 server without having to create a user account for each person?
I am trying to install Server 2003 on my server, I have the disk in the cd-rom drive, and have the bios set to boot from the drive. I have 3 scsi drives, raided. This used to be a Novell server. I can boot from a floppy disk, and get into the cd rom and go into I386 and run the winnt file to...
I figured out the problem. In Win95, the win.ini file can not be larger than 64k. if it is, it doesn't allow for some actions, printing functions included, to happen. I removed all the excess printer information that was in the file and it works normally now. Just thought I would pass on...
