Ok guys, gonna make you work for this one.

I have a user on a Win 95 box running Access 97. When he tries to run a prompt from within Access he gets the following message.

No default printer installed.

There are 4 printers installed on the computer, each one a NDPS Network printer. I can do a test print from the properties box from the default printer, so I do know it is printing. Also, his is the only computer having this problem. Any other computer opening the mdb file can use it without problems. Thanks for your help.

Do the other users have a local printer? or some other default printer?

why don't you consider capturing the network printer. that will give you a local printer connection i believe.

I figured out the problem. In Win95, the win.ini file can not be larger than 64k. if it is, it doesn't allow for some actions, printing functions included, to happen. I removed all the excess printer information that was in the file and it works normally now. Just thought I would pass on information learned.
