amr - this is a connection from an ATA to an IPO on a LAN. there are no firewalls or antiviruson these devices.
Bas -followed those settings to set it up and they match exactly whats in my config
the Patton M-ATA is supported and avaya provides a config guide in the knowledge base.
Monitor is not showing anything out of the ordinary. THe phone is registered, call completes, but no audio on either side. Both IPO and ATA are set to G.729
Using a SIP ATA (Patton). ATA registers with IPO but no audio on calls. Happens both local and remote.
Direct Media Path is disable for the SIP extension. I have tried to use different codecs also.
I was looking for a simple answer to this question. We are all well aware that the hunt group name is displayed on the phone but different environments require different solutions. Some places dont have cubicles (retail stores)where it is as simple as looking at the phone.
I have never see this done, but i suppose someone may have rigged it up somewhere:
Need to produce different ring tones or patters for 2 hunt groups so the users can distinguish which one is ringing.
