Is there any kind of command in SCO Unix 5.07 that approximates an "undelete?" Through a series of very stupid errors I removed two important files for which there is no backup. I GREATLY need to "undelete?" Any possibilities?

After only using SCO Unix in host mode for many years, I just recently upgraded to Enterprise and began using TCP/IP to network with Windows PCs. Now I am wondering how best to access the internet from the Unix box.
Some facts:
1. The Unix box is connected to a router which is connected to...
Yes, but it is not as straightforward as some think. Often when the question is asked the inquirer wants to be able to somehow toggle back and forth between operating systems like moving back and forth between applications. Practically speaking, only one operating system at a time can be...
Remote sessions ARE affected by the pause and it is NOT possible to switch to another session even on the console during this pause. Bummer. I will investigate the parallel port thing... this computer also has a Computone Intelliport. But I've never seen anything like this. Thanks for the...
Recently installed 5.07 on a system. Getting strange pauses that lock the keyboard and video for 30-40 seconds at a time for seemingly no reason. I have two systems with almost the exact hardware and software configuration... but on the second system several times a day the keyboard will...
Using SCO 5.0.4 I changed /usr/lib/X11/scologin/Xservers to cause tty08 instead of tty02 to be the screen on which Xserver started. However, tty02 still does not become available for regular login. Does something else have to be changed? Maybe inittab?

I'm wondering if it is acceptable to ask for product comparisons here. If so would anyone care to comment on the relative merits of ICE.tcp from James River vs. FacetWin from FacetCorp for...
I've thought about using some sort of unix script... uucp or ftp, but the logon process that I want to automatic in some cases is rather involved and I have assumed specialized communication software, such as TERM, would be a little easier.
The logon and file transfer is for electronic...
Is it acceptable and workable to install SCO OS 5.06 on non-scsi hardware? Will full functionality (i.e. CD, tape, etc) be available? Will the install be quirky? Thanks for any advice. Lee B. Walker

For SCO OS 5.06 I currently use the program TERM from Century Software to execute file transfers to other sites. The file transfers are a part of a script set up in TERM that allows the automation of logging in to the remote site and sending the file. Works fine. However, since that is all I...
