Creating an Admin Policy without the Group Admin Tool

Thanks Craig, Thanks Sarond Didn't even think of that!...I will check behind the dialogue box. It did not occur to me that the main interface may have auto minimised to the taskbar (we are still XP Pro). Cheers guys Rob.

Creating an Admin Policy without the Group Admin Tool

Thanks Supernova...Tried that as well, but the Desktop Tool checkbox is grayed out by virtue of the fact that the Receptionist does not have a IP Handset or directory number against her profile. Anyhoo the Desktop Tool would still give the User access to the type of configuration I wish to shield.

Creating an Admin Policy without the Group Admin Tool

Hello All. Heres one! I need to create a user who ONLY has access to the Telephone Directory. I created a new Policy named "Receptionist" and gave that Policy NO ACCESS. I then selected "Change" and changed the radio button to "Read/Write" for just the Telephone Directory Form. I then...

    Mitel Contact Centre Work Timer

Hi Guys Can anyone advise how I change the work timer in Mitel Contact Centre? After an agent has finished a call they appear in the "unavailable" column in work timer status. This is currently 60 YES 60! seconds before moving to available status. Is the work timer adjustment in the COS forms...

    Headset on a 4015 and 4025 / SX-200

Hi Gyuys...I am fairly new to the forum and since putting in my two penneth earlier, have been following the thread. Kwb, I think your advice and comments are both clear and relevent...and what impresses me here is the fact that you don't put yourself on a pedestal...even openly requesting...

    MCD 4 vs. Ops Manager

The Interface keeps the same basic structure and all the forms are still there with a few additions. Mitel have re-named some of the forms and seemed to have dropped the "assignment" off the end of some. You also see a little Green/yellow arrow icon against Forms which are included in the SDS...

    MCD 4 vs. Ops Manager

Yep...it is 4.1. I just feel that not enough thought was given to administrators who will clearly have to do a bit of form hopping around the MN3300 to achieve what could be done from the single "Change User" screen in Opsman. Again I fully understand there is the Change attributes Assignment...

    Headset on a 4015 and 4025 / SX-200

Harry is right in the fact that the SS4015 is not a speakerphone whereas the SS4025 is. However this in itself will not affect the functionallity of the device or compatibility with using a headset. I would go with the connectivity issue. The headset cannot be plugged directly in to the SS4015...

    Headset on a 4015 and 4025 / SX-200

Mmmm...The cancel issue should be simple...If you are using any type of Headset (the Plantronics are Mitel friendly) you will also need to reserve and program one of the keys as a "RELEASE KEY" as the Superset will not know when you are ending or transferring the call (because you are not...

    MCD 4 vs. Ops Manager

Y'know...we all roll with Mitel's release advancements thinking the whole world is rosy...until we delve a bit deeper. We are having an upgrade to MCD 4 and are losing our Ent and Ops Manager. How easy it was in Ops Man to hop onto Directory Manager "one stop shop" to change user profiles (In my...
