UPDATE:
So I finally got this all sorted out with Mitel Tech Support and we got the system upgraded to Service Patch 4. This issue and a couple of other minor issues seem to be resolved at this time.

No, I haven't done the import yet. The docs I have say I can test by dialing the 97001/97001/97003. I didn't want to try a pre-mature import and bugger things up going forward. I can certainly do that next though.

Tried the Raw 2002 connection again today with the same results. I was able to get into a different controller with that method though.
I'm just going to give up until I head back out there in the next couple of days.

Just tried port 2002 with putty and was denied. I could enter my username and then the password but then it just hung and didn't let me in.
I'll have to try disconnecting from the network next week when I'm out there.
