    i have installed a 80gig hdd onto the same ide cable as the cd rom drive and arranged the pin to slave.it is a western digital and the model is WDC WD800BB-OOJHC0. it comes up in the other hard drives properties,but there is no icon present in "my computer." PLEASE HELP!! :)

    i have just put a new 80 gig hdd and connected it to slave on the same cable as the cd-rom drive..i havent had trouble before with this.but i cant see the icon of the new drive in my computer.it comes up when i click on the master hdd's properties and it says that thers nothing wrong with it.why...
