Also I had already gone to user/telephony and entered the login code there. There is not another level after "telephony". That is the code I used as the pw in the last message.
In Manager>Config Tree I have a "BOOTP" item that has a checkbox for Enable and that is the only place I can find where enable BootP or TFTP is mentioned. Am I just missing it?
Also, the server version is not an issue.
On other posts I'm reading that the FileSrv setting should be the Manager PC and not the Avaya box. If I change that setting to the Mgr PC I receive the TFTP Timeout again? I am searching for a "monitor" app but can find nothing about it online.
Ok, were getting closer. Before the initial IP sync would go through 6 time and timeout. Now it comes back TFTP Error "File Not Found".
Phone is set like this:
IP: 192.168.1.191 (on our lan)
CallSvr: 192.168.1.246 (IP of the Avaya box)
CallSvPort: 1719 (was already in the phone)

intrigrant, thanks for the info. I have the administrators guide but cannot see how to either check the current firmware or just tell the Manager system to push it to the phone? This is the first time I have needed to do this and am a little lost.
We have never hooked up a true IP phone to our IP Office 4.1 system because after they are plugged in and go through setup the screen goes blank. The phone works both in/outbound but nothing on the display? I know this is old software but any help is appreciated.
