I have a mitel SX-200. right now when we put someone on hold its just silent. I would like to use the built in voicemail to recording a simple message that will repeat so the caller knows the phone is still connected. something simple like Please hold is just fine with me. How do I go about...
I was using Putty to work with my Mitel SX-200 when all the sudden it seemed like the window froze. no key commands would do anything. I tried CTRL-Q to try and bring it back but nothing. Tried CTRL-W like on the SX-2000 but nothing. Enter 10 times with no luck. I closed putty and...
I have a room phone that when I pick it up I hear dial tone. When I start dialing, I hear the beeps from the keys, but the dial tone never goes away, and I can't call any extension or outside. any ideas? I tried a couple different room phones.
I got it! I used a SMDR program and just did test calls from a room and I got stuff to port into the program, but not my call accounting device, so I think my device is just toast. I found it on a shelf covered in dust... lol that explains why.
So it looks like nothing is outputting. I hooked up a generic SMDR program and connected to the SX-200 via serial cable, I then made a test call from a room, and no data. I have it set to 1200 8 N 1 is that correct, or should it be 9600?
In form 34 I have the following
EXT NUM = Printer Port
PRINTOUT = SMDR
PRINTOUT TYPE = Auto Print
GUARANTEED - No
CDE Data Print is set to a 3 digit extension number.
I just want to figure out a way to test and make sure its Sending data out that port. because I hooked it up to that port last...
Thanks! is there a way to test it, like force the SX-200 to output something? also mine is set to the printer output. would I use a standard serial cable (9pin to 25pin adapter) or would it need to be a null modem?
Ok, so my maid in room code is #1
My Clean Occupied "Entry-Code" as shown in PMS is 1
So my code I dial from the room should be #11
I think I get it now. Thanks!!
We have been dialing that, but for some reason the room status doesn't change for us... anything Else I need to check?
...I'm very new to this. I did more digging over teh weekend on this site, and found the "Maid In Room" you just mentioned. my PMS system is set to *21 for clean occupied. So now that I know the maid in room code, do I dial the maid in room code, followed by the full PMS code? For example...
...set to disabled
108 is set to enabled (I figure this is correct since I want it to tell my PMS system about the change)
I have codes set in Opera *21 for clean ocupied *22 for dirty ocupied, etc.
But when I pick up a room phone and dial *22 nothing happens. do I need to dial something...
Thanks!! that did it. I was going backwards. I was going into that group assignment, and trying to delete the list from there, not from the extensions listed there. lol
I have a phone that I want to add to an ACD group. I can't because its set as a Key System type. I went into Multi line set group assignment, but when I change Group type from Key System, to Single Line I get the following message.
Cannot Change from group to single line or threshold alert...
We have two phones that have no buttons on them. They were set to dial the operator automatically when picked up. Now they just give a dial tone. Where do I go to set them up again to auto dial the operator when picked up?
