Normally the password you are using to enter the Octel is the same as either the Primary or Secondary managers mailbox. You can use either mailbox to send a broadcast message by going into the mailbox and entering 9,1

I have changed several before and now after the Nov 24th reboot date. There is several things to verify before the date is changed or you could have more issues. Verify drives are all up running, etc.
After the system verify and resolutions, if any, I have had no issues.
You can contact my...
In most cases just changing the year back does not resolve all issues. There are other areas of the Octel that require attention to make sure the system is running clean, especially after the system reboot on Nov 24th.
Contact my company and we can help.

You can do a List Trace for all ports to see if the call is even hitting the Octel

Have you been able to record greetings before and this just started?
Check to make sure the COS allows user changes to greetings
Create a new mailbox and verify if you have the same issue.

...had a power surge?
At this time I would be looking at drives or a back-plane issue. Make sure all voltages on the back-plane look good and no burned traces.

Message are not affected when setting the clock back. The message time stamp will stay the same because it only uses the month day, not year. I have not had any complaints about the time stamp
I have changed several Octel Aria system to the 1987 year and have had no issues with the system. I have run backups on each system with no issues. The backup included all messages.
The system uses a QSIG Tie Trunk (Trunk Group 114) to connect the G450 to the existing Mitel sx2000 system. All incoming calls route through the Avaya Gateway. If a call needs to route to MM, it travels over a QSIG trunk group (Trunk Group 18). Calls route flawlessly with one noteable...

Dedicated ports is not the issue here. The issue is system droping MWI activity on a users mailbox.
TAC will not be called anyway
I will not be back on this one until Monday. Got to go fishing :))
The system would give you a failure code if the MWI did not go out because of the Line Seize Failure.
If the ports are not dedicated then the MWI will just slow down under heavy traffic.
We are loosing the user sofware configuration that tells the system the user has MWI capabilities. All other...
Six MWI ports are set for MWI and are not dedicated ports
The Mbx has been toggled in Menu 9 but no activity seen in the CDR, 18, trace. The only way to get the MWI back for the user after the system forgets about it, is to rebuild the Mbx.
Garbage collect has been ran.
I have not involved the...
