yeah I'm so unfamiliar with the concept of DNS in this setup. I don't know what the purpose of the public and private DNS involved and how they come into play here. I'm thinking if trying to access through the internet, I'll have to get a publicly accessible sub-domain to point to the public IP...

Just configure with a 2 at front of each extension (x210, x211, x212, etc...) and let them know to just get used to it. It'd be better for the AA config depending how many phones they have. Otherwise if they're bent on it, it will work fine

Also as a side-note, remember I'm not using one-X Portal. This is just a Telephony-only solution

Anyone run into an issue where Avaya Communicator - Telephony only (NO one-X Portal) successfully Loads Contacts when locally connected to the network, but does not load them when Remote?
