Here is the third way.
I believe your answer is.. VPIM setup on all BCM's.
This will require VPIM keycode per BCM, may be available
as try n' buy.
I have no setup advice for you at this time,
but I am currently working on this very setup between
3 BCM50's. I will post my solution when complete.
Sounds like your leading me in the right direction..
But I'm not real familure with certs.
Is this something I can manually enter or do I need to be
on the BCM LAN?
Is there a certain port that needs to be forwarded to accomplish this?
I have access to contivity and access to system via element manager, but when I launch callpilot manager I get page cannot be displayed or doesn't exist.
Anyone willing to type step by step instructions on
how-to setup VPN through DSL modem connecting to,
cable modem with linksys router attached,
using contivity221 inside the BCM's?
Thanks mrmarshall, for repling.
Sounds like you have accomplised this before.
Can I get a run down on how to set VPN Between locations?
Equipment involved:
Home location:Westel modem ( Bellsouth Supplied DSL )
Remote Locale:DLINK cable modem ( Comcast Supplied ),
in front...
Is it possible to use the public IP address provided by the ISP to use VoIP trunks between two BCM50es'?
If so please let me in on the secret.......
(( Really helpful if I can get a diagram or something))
