By Dial type, I assume you mean the 'feature' field which is set to 'dial by emergency'. This field is greyed out and cannot be changed. Thus, no way to change and delete.
Wow, do I feel lame.... Of course it was ex directory. I was somehow focused on the vmpro portion to exclude them and forgot rule #1. Keep it simple.

Thanks so far....as far as 'imbedded', I simply meant that I cannot attempt to point it to busy as you suggest as the shortcode has both the "code" and "feature" fields greyed out. And like I stated, the short code is undeleteable. Also, I cannot point it to voicemail node for the same reason...
So the system (406) comes with preprogrammed 911 shortcodes.
[9]11 and [9]911.
At the clients' request they want to exclude [9]11 as they seem to be 'accidently' calling the police too often. However, I cannot seem to delete the shortcode as it is apparently imbedded. They will go forward with...
I have a setup (406, 3.2) where I want a selected few users to not be reachable via 'Dial by Name' to the outside world. Other than not include their name in the 'Full Name' field, is there a way to exclude them.
