Forced Agent Logout with Timed ACW

Unfortunately, they're using Auto-Answer, so we can't utilize the RONA features. Also, I tried using the manual-in feature, but since we're using softphone, it doesn't work when they answer on the softphone b/c it automatically uses auto-in. Arrgghh!

Forced Agent Logout with Timed ACW

As usual, this is technology trying to correct bad agent behavior. These are 2nd shift agents who are inadvertently staying in TACW and then leaving for the day. Apparently there are also no Supervisors around to check CC Pulse / CMS at this time of the evening, so they can't verify that these...

Forced Agent Logout with Timed ACW

Does anyone have any experience using the agent login ID feature 'Maximum Time agent in ACW before logout (sec)' in combination with Timed ACW on either the VDN or Hunt Group? This function seems to work when the agent manually chooses the ACW state, but it doesn't seem to apply with timed ACW...

Formula for determining number of queue slots

I'm working on a project to implement queuing in our in-front IVR system, and I was wondering if anyone has encountered a formula that can be used to determine the number of queue slots (ports) needed to handle call volume at a busy hour? I've looked through the Erlang methods, but I don't see...

Notes iMail Support for Safari / Firefox / Netscape

Does anyone know if Notes iMail provides support for non-IE browsers, such as Safari, Firefox, or Netscape? The only browser that seems to currently work with the iMail interface is Internet Explorer. All other browsers default to a "webmail" view that is not very functional at all. Thanks, Brad

    MAPD 100MB ??

We are running on an isolated subnet (VLAN) for that segment, but even still...it is vulnerable to network storms at the Hub, right?

    MAPD 100MB ??

Thanks dwalin - Yeah, I was aware of the advances with r12+ ... unfortunately my company is putting off the upgrade until later...so I was looking for any possible solutions for r10/r11.

    MAPD 100MB ??

At first, there were a ton of bottlenecks because we weren't running the CTI traffic on an isolated sub-net, and the 10/half traffic was just getting killed. We have moved it to an isolated sub-net, but it is still vulnerable to a network storm at the hub.... We have about 1,200 CTI agents and...

    MAPD 100MB ??

yeah, everything that I've heard from Avaya "officially" is that this is not possible...but I just was wondering about other options....

    MAPD 100MB ??

Does anyone know of a way to configure the TN801B MAPD board to run at the 100/full network speed? I have heard from a contact in the industry that there are MAPD boards out there that have been "tweaked" to do so. Any information / news on this??

    Intuity Internet Messaging

m4ilm4n - Thanks for the reply. Yeah, we're probably going to use your solution to check the mailbox as a POP3, but before we did that we wanted to see if it was possible for Intuity to "push" the messages instead of "pulling" via POP3.

    Intuity Internet Messaging

Thanks for the responses..... I guess we were hoping that the Intuity would actually "send" an outbound message (like a notification) to the email address specified on the subscriber form. However, the more research that we have done, it seems like this email address is used to identify the...

    Intuity Internet Messaging

Has anyone successfully set up Internet Messaging on the Intuity server(s)? We're trying to get Intuity to send an email notification to the email address administered on in the subscriber forms when a new message arrives. I've got POP3 set up, the mail gateway is administered, all of the...

    Intuity Audix and Lotus Notes

BTW, thanks so much for the information. I think this is half the battle that I was trying to win. I got Notes to pull from the Intuity Server, however, we are also wanting to know if there is a feature on the Intuity that can send an email notification to the email address specified in the...

    Intuity Audix and Lotus Notes

Just curious - I set up an account in my personal address book for Intuity - but how do I specify replication for that account? I couldn't find anyway to specify it for replication....

    Intuity Audix and Lotus Notes

Avgindyguy - Did you ever figure out how to do what you were wanting to accomplish within Notes? We are wanting to do the same thing.

    Service Observing

hayw00d - you can always do a Find/Replace through the ASA (Avaya Site Administration) software to change the COR's of either Agent Login ID's or Stations to another value. This is the easiest way to do it all at one time instead of manually changing each object.

Restrict Blind Transfer on Station Level

Thanks for the response, but is there a way to do this on a NON-SYSTEM-WIDE level?

    Caller-ID Name Information

wildcard: thanks for the info -- we've tried using call-by-call (cbc) as the trunk-group type, but we have problems b/c we have to do a lot of digit conversion on the 3rd page b/c we have a multitude of treatments for different ranges. The CBC type will not let us use the conversion ..... any...

    Caller-ID Name Information

If you get an answer to this question -- we would be very interested in the solution. We have been researching this issue for the past two months with our local and long distance providers, and we're still not receiving the CP-Name on our trunks. To see if you're receiving the information on...
