All 4 links have same down speed.
All 4 IP addresses are dynamic.
And all 4 links have the same gateway.
Does setting up BGP really necessary for this to work? Is there other way to go?
Thanks,

Hi,
We have 4 ISP feeds into cat3750.
We need to distribute that over 20 different users.
What is basic configuration required for load balancing 4 ISPs?
Thanks in advance!

Routed MAC aging time is exactly what it says. Once these learned mac-address has reached the configured age time (300 seconds by default), the switch flushes out of its memory. Switch re-learns these by pings performed by each node.
As far as global time out, I am not quite sure about it. But...

viper and voltron,
What do you recommend the hsrp timer to be?
Don't want to lose any data as well as avoid any flapping.
If I can't have both, what would be the compromised hsrp timer value?

Hi I am dealing with limited choice in designing HSRP configuration.
There are three end nodes and two catalyst 6500s.

Switch 1 and Switch 2 are linked via trunk (layer 2).
between Node A and switch 1 are layer-3 link, and as well as...

Hi,

1. how to configure to port mirroring on cat6500?
2. how to delete other vty session that is currently logged on to the switch?
Thanks!

Thanks for replying.
What is the difference between these two commands?
"snmp-server enable traps linkdown linkup"
and
"logging event link status default"
??

First thing comes out of my mind is the interface may be in shutdown status.
If it is not, go to that interface config mode anyway and give "shutdown" then type "no shutdown" again. Sometimes toggling helps.

Yes! the switch has been converted from hybrid to native IOS.
So from my understand,
c6sup22-js-mz.121-23.E1.bin is the main native IOS. (~20meg)
c6msfc2-boot-mz.121-22.E2.bin is the mini IOS (~1 meg)
c6msfc2-psv-mz.121-22.E2.bin is hybrid IOS (~14 meg).
Right?
