Port Mirroring and delete vty session (cat6500)

Hi,

I have two questions,

1. how to configure to port mirroring on cat6500?

2. how to delete other vty session that is currently logged on to the switch?

What kind of 6500 , catos or native ??? To clear a vty on a IOS box , do a sh line and it should show you what line it is , then just doa "clear line XX" .

Following is the mirroring setup I use on a 2950. Beleive it similair to your switch.

monitor session 1 source interface Fa0/2
monitor session 1 destination interface Fa0/1 ingress vlan 1

I use this for our internet filter to block traffic. Do not know if you switch will support the Ingress command. See the following link for additional info:
