RickyPone - thanks for feedback, tried 'output test' from a working maintenance terminal but did not get anything on my laptop connected to the bad TTY 07 PORT 2. I should have a replacement card tomorrow or Wed.
After hooking laptop to MSDL Port 0 (TTY_7) I received "IOD0333 7" across the maintenance terminal which translates to "Port is now operational"
I received the following output on maintenance terminal but no characters/output on my laptop connected to MSDL Port 0, TTY_7.
>SDI: 7 Entering Test...
So full disclosure there is a D-Channel configured on Port 2 of the MSDL card but is no longer in use and is kept disabled.
The MSDL card is a NT6D80AB Rlse01, I've disabled it and re-seated it, performed FDL in LD37. I was out of office yesterday but picked up a DB9 null modem to connect my...
We have maintenance terminals connected to CORE for local administration. We have this TTY port configured as DNUM 7, Network Group 2 for remote administration an monitoring. The TTY was once configured for vendor hosted Site Event Buffer box that I re-used for Teleboss 850 which has worked for...
Lost access to TTY port "0" on 4-port MSDL card in CS1000M after a Sysload.
We were running on Core 1 prior to the Sysload, now running on Core 0. After PBX booted up we lost OVL access on the TTY port used for remote access and alarms notifications . We're receiving alarm notifications on the...
We've recently had an area-code overlay (forcing 10-digit dialing), our local bell is still allowing 7-digit to pass. I'm trying to test forced 10-digit by changing an existing RLI assigned to a local NXX to point to a RAN Route with recording......"To complete your call you must dial...

Occasionally have to reboot our Contact Center due to unavailability of web access/services and IIS for ACD Agents? We are running CS1000 7.5 and about 8-10 ACD agents logging in daily. A reboot resolves the problem but I would like to find out whats causing the problem...
We have a CS1000 PBX with about 2400 digital sets with a fraction of them being M3904 phones the rest 2000 series. Ocassionaly a M3904 phone will freak out and start blasting out a whirlingly tone over the speaker and the MWI light will flash. I'm not seeing any output codes or errors on the...
Is there a way to keep the originating calling id from an internal call to external number?
Example: x2000 calls x2001, x2001 tranfers the call from x2000 to outside number. I want the external number to receive caller id from x2001.
CS1000 running 7.5 using PRI from local bell for outside...

Looks like it is what it is.....I had a different experience years ago with Stutter dial tone from a Nortel DMS100 and I know it's not the same as the SL1 PBX's. Thanks for your responses.
We have several analog lines still using Stutter dial tone for MWI. I occasionally receive trouble tickets from new users that state they're getting BUSY Tone when they go off hook. It's been my experience with Stutter dial tone for MWI has been that when going off-hook there would be the...
In the process of checking with vendor to see if they have the credentials. I have only been here a short time and don't have the complete history of the CS1000 system and it's maintenance. Thanks for your help!!
Logged into the Signaling Server Linux Base today as Admin2 via putty and got the FQDN, everything working well. I tried to restart the Security Service to enable the Authentication Role setup in UCM and got rejected. The NTP states to us the Root account but I don't have a Root account on the...
Now we have a CP-PM card in our PBX which I was under the impression was a CoRes setup.
So that being the case I would use the commands I earlier stated??
Thanks, I was able to get the 'LOGIN AS:' prompt using SSH but didn't actually log in. I read where I have to successfully log out or I will be locked out of the Signaling Server.
From what I can tell, I need to type 'logo' when done session then <Shift><~> then <.> then type <exit> to...
