Hi,
I have an Office 2000 built access DB.
Essentially, when it is opened with Access from XP office, it crashes when simple VB code is executed, and thus restarts itself.
If someone has encountered this problem, could you describe any solutions implemented to prevent this?
Thanks in...
Hi,
Thanks for your advice.
But my problem is that I do not know how to write these conditions. I have a very basic understanding of the IIf statements.
If someone could help in structuring an IIf statement that would generate the type of results that I initially queried, I would be most...
Dear Access gurus,
I have a report that displays dates from a control source. I want to highlight dates in two colors, that represents two sets of chronologies.
Red would represent anything past the date at which the report was/is to be generated, amber for any dates that are within 3 months...

I have an access report. It is generated from several control sources from a single table.
I want to add another control source from another table. But I can't find the option to do this.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this very basic problem?
Thanks in advance.
Tanya.

Hi,
I basically have a report that, due to the nature of the Access data, presents a single long list in the report view. The control source lies within the "details" section of the report.
Is there anyway I can split the long list into 2 or 3 columns rather than one long column...
I need to import data from fields withing two MS Access tables (from the same database) into one MS project.
What would be the best way to do this whilst preserving the data integrity?
I have had a look at the standard Project "open file click to change filetype to MS Access"...

Hi,
I have a report that at the moment reflects a single date from the "launch date" field in my table. I have now updated my table so that there is a "revised launch date" field.
How can I get my report to recognise that some launch dates have been revised. Essentially, I...
Thanks for the advice. I went "extreme" on the report, and deleted the lines you spoke of. It still did not make a difference; The report still generated a page of data and a blank page in alternating sequence.
I am sure it has got something to do with the default page size and the...
I have created a report using the wizard. The problem is that I am unable to change the report page width size (currently set to 30cm width). This is greater than the report page default size, so it always generates a blank page for every report page (i think the "blankness" of the the...
Essentially, I am copying and pasting data from one table to another. Autonumbering should assign a new number for the data.
What I have found is that if I delete many records from the table which records are to be copied into, it autoassigns a number to the new records as if the records I have...
Hi, I have formatted an excel file so that the cell rows and columns should all fit perfectly into an access table.
How can I copy and paste the data from excel to the access table?
I am having a lot of difficulty doing this, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks Ann and Graham for all your help.
Would I also be able to link forms from two different databases? Or is this too high level for it to work?
Thanks again.

Ps. Ann, thanks for the Noobie advice!
Hi Ann and Graham;
Sorry about misdescribing tables as forms. I am very much a novice in the big bad world of DBs (as you can tell).
Essentially, my boss has given me an Access DB with a table (table a) that has related fields (I hope this is the correct terminology) to that of another DB...
I would like to synchronise a form in my Access DB with data from another form from another Access DB. Apart from copying and pasting the relevant field data in datasheet view, is there any way I can do this automatically using an Access function/macro/module?
This would save me a lot of time...
