Dear Access gurus,

I have a report that displays dates from a control source. I want to highlight dates in two colors, that represents two chronologies.

Red would represent anything past the date at which the report was/is to be generated, amber for any dates that are within 3 months away from the date that the report was generated.

How can I go about doing this?

Thanks in advance

In the detail section, set the ForeColor property of the date field based on your conditions. I know red is represented by 255; you'll have to figure out amber yourself. (Change the color to amber then look in the property box for the setting.)

Hi,

Thanks for your advice.

But my problem is that I do not know how to write these conditions. I have a very basic understanding of the IIf statements.

If someone could help in structuring an IIf statement that would generate the type of results that I initially queried, I would be most grateful.

Thanks.
