You need to unzip it using aix unzip file on aix box i.e. unzip_aix <ORACLE PATCH>.zip It will not work on windows platform

Well this aix "consultant" came here few days ago and removed the faulty disk from pSeries without checking if it is a mirror copy of the rootvg ! I have requested for another aix consultant so wanted to list all the task before he comes on site and make sure we follow the tasks/procedures.
