We're running Client version 4.0 (Build 4.01.07) Rev 6
That's what Bell (Canada) had installed and provided.
The machine is Windows XP with SP2 and all of the current Nortel approved hotfixes.
We are running SCCS 4.2 on M1-61C’s. Our ComCentres also have readerboards that are controlled by SkillView software (MCK).
All of our Client workstations run on Windows 2000. We are looking at migrating to Windows XP. I have installed and tested Symposium Client software on an XP machine...
In our ComCentres, some calltakers log out by unplugging their headset, instead of using the Make Busy key: They don’t even wait to see that the “logged out” indication shows on their M3905 sets! The Standard Operating procedure tells them to use MSB, but it’s human nature to take shortcuts...
We just recently had Client PEPs NS040107G015C, NS040107G012C and NS040107G018C loaded. One of those PEPs actually allow us (using a checked box) to have a desktop profile where the password does not expire. (appears etween "Reset Password" and "Lockout" buttons in the desktop User Properties tab)

At present, our SCC Servers are configured with partitions C (primary) and D (extended) only on Disk 0.
The Disk size is 18.2G. Both C and D are 4G each, leaving 10.2G of unused disk space.
I want to add an additional extended partition (X) to Disk 0.
I reviewed the Installation and...
Had this happen just last week in one of our ComCentres. It was happenning to two M3905 sets. After speaking with our vendor (Bell), they had moved the sets to a different TN. Within 10 minutes, the same thing was happenning.
The Bell "Hi-Tech" team looked into it, and found that there was a...
You're supposed to stay logged into SCCS if you have scheduled reports to run automatically. You'll even get a warning when logging out of SCCS regarding this.
We (Ontario Provincial Police) use products from MCK (web site is MCK.COM) We use 2 inch (tri-colour) reader boards within the Calltaking area of our ComCentre. In the equipment room, the Symposium Client workstation has SkillView software loaded on it. The serial port is connected to an...
We have just purchased ARCserve 9.0 with the Sybase Adaptive module. Our intention is to use this for complete backups of our SCCS 4.2 servers. Servers are Compaq Proliant ML350.
Anyone have any experience / problems with using ARCserve in a Symposium environment? If so, how did you...
