Looking for information regarding a good readerboard to integrate with our 61 c and how one would go about setting it up.
I have heard of models like Cybernetic and Daktroniks but not sure if they will work.
Is anyone using areader board with a 61 c that they would recommend. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Goland

We have SCCS version 3.0 going to 4.2 with Option 81C and 61C and using Symon2000 netbrite reader boards. Works well. For Symposium 4.2 we have to upgrade to current version of Symon2000

The Symon sollution works very well for Reader boards and desktops as well. 100% customizable to your needs. I would suggest looking into Symon. Not badly priced either.

We use Inova Lightlink, works well they have an easy to use API to connect to Symposium

We (Ontario Provincial Police) use products from MCK (web site is MCK.COM) We use 2 inch (tri-colour) reader boards within the Calltaking area of our ComCentre. In the equipment room, the Symposium Client workstation has SkillView software loaded on it. The serial port is connected to an RS232 to RS485 interface connector (Patton Electronics model 2085). The RS485 end (looks like an RJ45 female) connects to the input of the 1st reader board. The output of the 1st readerboard is connected to the input of the 2nd. This daisy chaining continues for as many readerboards you may desire. We have the same real-time messages show on both readerboards simultaneously. If you want different messages on your readerboards, you have to purchase a "gizmo" from MCK to program a unique address into each readerboard, otherwise all readerboards have the same default address. Programming in SkillView is easy and flexible. MCK has another associated product (QuickView); however, we do not use it.
To get more info, go to MCK.COM, select products and then "Wall display and Reader Boards" Good Luck
