Not sure what Port 10000 is for?
10001 is the start of the "data stream ports". Networker uses ports 10001-30000 to stream the data to the storage node or server.
Other ports to check are 111, 514, 7937-9936.
I would agree with those.
The Unix SA may ask:
Did the masking/zoning change on the switch or storage?
Did the switch port go down?
Did the fiber cable fail?

I've been using 7.2 (7.2.1 is the current version we are on) for the last 18 months without any problems.
