I think you will find that Folder Redirection is only available when you are editing a Group Policy. It isn't available within the local policy of an individual machine.
The solution is to make an OU for the users who will be accessing the server, then create a GPO which implements the Folder...
Thanks for the reply. I've checked for that by setting the default for Software Restriction Policies to "Unrestricted" and the script runs exactly as expected. It's only when the default is set to "Disallowed" that the script doesn't run so I am fairly sure it is in the right...
I want to implement "Software Restriction Policies" on my Terminal Services server, yet still allow execution of any batch/cmd/vbs files as logon/logoff scripts.
Even when I include a path rule for:
\\domainname\sysvol\policies\domainname\GUID\user\logon\*.*
the script will not run...
What OS is the user using? As far as I am aware if it is XP, W2K3 Server or W2K of any kind, the license is built in so there would be no need for the licensing server to issue one.
