Justin2000- Trying to coordinate with sales people who are constantly traveling, and connecting via modem is extremely hard (and slow over the modem). That and backing up laptops for about 50 sales laptops would take up way to...
I got it working, just an FYI for anyone that has a problem getting Crystal reports to work on a win2k3 terminal server environment. If crystal reports wont open you need to add in the system path variable the location of the c:\windows\crystal directory. Otherwise the user variable wont know...
Anyone know what version of Crystal reports runtime is supported on windows 2003. Im trying crystal reports 7 runtime that we use on 2000 terminal servers, but its not working on the 2003 terminal servers.
Thanks
On two terminal servers I am putting on system DSN's for accessing database information by using crystal reports. When i run the reports (the one who put on the system DSN's) they work fine. If anyone else (including another domain admin) runs the reports the print report to screen shows up...
Is there a way to set up ODBC connections in the login script? Right now i have registry entries that i can double click on to install for system DSN's but now i need to do it on a per user basis while connecting to terminal servers.
Is there a way to check if the terminal server recognizes the license server. Seems some do recognize the license server, and some dont, i need to find a way to check if they are or are not seeing the license server.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone run into any problems with upgrading? Loss of jobs, or problems with connecting to remote agents? Just wondering what i should expect from this upgrade.
I know you dont need an OS on the thin clients, but when purchasing them they come with either CE, or XPe, and the price difference is pretty substantial (20% or so). I'll try the Operating system forum.
Just got done setting up a windows 2003 server farm for terminal services. Looking to move toward thin client machines, but as i research the price difference in the XPe and CE operating systems is about 20% on average. Are there any advantages to having the XP os rather than the CE os? What...
