    It is not reconmend you telnet a system with root account. You may firstly telnet as common user then use command su to do what you want to do.It's for the sake of security that Sun disable this root-telnet function.

    you need to modify you impromptu.ini file the picklist value default is 100, and you need to change it to a higher number if you want to see more choices in your picklist
