MN3300 MCD 5.0 SP2 PR1 SIP trunks and maintenance commands are not working tried a system reboot but still the same. Has any one had this before? Thinking I might need to reload the software or upgrade to 5.0 SP2 PR2.

Hello have you tried a data base restore from an earlier date. This may be the quickest way of getting the site working also it will determine if the fault lies on the db or vmail database files or the vx works core system

To All, Does anyone know how to setup SNMP alarm monitoring on the 3300? I have had a go at programming it but not sure. Also does any one know a good peice of software to monitor the SNMP for the system alarms Need to capture the status of the alarm from the system e.g major or no alarm.

Hi there If your call is coming into the 3300 via a system speed call e.g DDI 303900 = speed call 900 actual number extn 2078. Then the speed call number will have by default COR 1 To overcome the problem you will have to set the speed call to overide toll control. Hope this helps.

To all I have now resolved this issue using the intercept form and name tag hunt group. Thank you all for your help.

Had another thought on this has anyone had experience with the ADF files and would this enable the name to be displayed as the call is ringing on the console. ( Not alpha tagging)

These are the additional tests we have done. Port works with a POT phone I have applied a config from a week ago when the fax machine was definitely working and I still have the same issue, just to be sure I applied one from 2 weeks ago and it is still the same. I hooked a different fax...

To All, Tested the port with a POT phone and all ok must be the fax itself. Going to reset it to factory default and see what happens.

Tried it James but it didnt display the name on the console whilst the call was ringing. It only displayed the name when answered. If I reroute it to my 5330 it works

Thank you James I assigned a hunt group and rerouted it to the console but the hunt group was the answer point for the DDI and it only displayed the name once the call was answered. Will create speed call and point to hunt group then reroute the call to the console Thanks for your help.

Tried changing the speed and the fault is still the same tried new line cords mod taps etc. End user is now going to try the fax directly into the analouge POTS 16 module port 10. Thank you all for your help will keep you posted.

Hello tlpeter, The bearer is set to any and still saying the same reciving and ring tone no reply. Very strange

The customer does have a SIP connection she will confirm if the number is coming in via SIP. Unfortunatly no test / pot phone at site to test thanks for your help
