    Administration via ethernet????

Thank you both. You've clarified for me the functionality of the serial port. Any rumors of Avaya supporting a true Ethernet/WAN-connected admin tool in the future???

    Administration via ethernet????

Can anyone tell me if it is feasible to use a pair of serial-to-ethernet adapters (one on the Partner system and one at a remote location across the company WAN attached to a PC) to do remote administration?

Pre-record and download AA script for embedded vm?

We are lab testing IP Office for possible use in a chain of retail stores. I need to be able to centrally record (change) the auto attendant greeting message and send the revised message out to stores remotely. Through trial and error I (think) I see that the AA greeting message is named...

    DISA functionality with IPOffice?

It works great. Thanks for the help. Is there a technical reference that contains this information? I'm not finding this information in any of the reference materials I have.

    DISA functionality with IPOffice?

Thanks Pete. I'm currently looking at using only the imbedded VM option and not VMPro. I presume this functionality isn't available in the imbedded feature.

    DISA functionality with IPOffice?

Is there a way to configure IPOffice to allow the Auto Attendant to accept extension number dialing either in addition to, or in place of single-digit assignments?

DID call via PRI to analog DN can't talk

I checked out the UDI/RDI CLS. It requires package 131, which I don't have, so it shouldn't be impacting me. Still looking for further direction, if anyone has thoughts.

DID call via PRI to analog DN can't talk

I had a conversation today with a tech who raised the question of how I have LD 17 configured for RLS ID. The CO switch is a Siemens switch (with SBC; formerly Illinois Bell/Ameritech). Reference was made to the fact that there are 37 (?) different switch IDs that can be used and if I don't...

john, do you have the specific name of the patch? I thought there was only one patch available for 22.08, and I have that one. Are there more? Thanks!

DID call via PRI to analog DN can't talk

wdhb, the analog extension works fine in all respects other than talking on an inbound DID call to the extension. The DID call rings the phone like normal, but when you pick up the handset, you have battery, but no talk path. Observing a DCH trace shows the switch sending a message to the CO...

I apologize if this post is inappropriate for this forum. I am evaluating WebFocus for our organization. Looking for feedback from current users. Compared to other offerings, would you choose WebFocus again?

DID call via PRI to analog DN can't talk

I have Option 11C, Release 22.08 with ISDN PRI for DID. Inbound calls over the PRI to an analog DN ring in but the call gets dropped when the called party picks up the phone. If you define the DN to ALSO appear on a digital set button, the inbound call completes OK. We've worked around this...
