In Provision, go to menu System / Send (or the Send menu icon). Don't right-click on table to select send.
In the top-right, check the box for Send Blank Fields.
That should send all blank fields in the table.
You should also use the Search Criteria to limit which entries are sent to avoid...
There are a couple of ways to park calls.
Call-Park Places the call in a non-exclusive hold, allowing another phone to take the call.
Call-Unpark (SIP) Allows a phone to take a call parked on another station.
AnswerBack (H.323) A Feature Access Code and not a dedicated button. Allows a phone to...
Hmm...
Assuming these are PRI, did you create new trunks in CM for Lumen or did you unplug your existing circuits from Verizon and just swing the cables over to Lumen?
If new trunk programming, do the patented Stare and CompareTM method between the Verizon trunks and Lumen. Double check DS1s...
Sometimes the external number is programmed as 11-digits, which works fine for dialing out. If the provider is sending 10-digits, you will probably have to edit the number and only put 10-digits in the number and the "1" in the Dial Prefix column.
Next is to check the incoming call handling...
OH. Sorry, I misread that.
For outbound calls from stations, you're not using the public-unknown-numbering table in CM but using a Regex Adaptation on the SBC?
When a station calls another station with EC500, does only the desk phone ring? Can you provide a list trace station xxx when station...
I think the best way is to use ASA and use Reports to combine all your vectors into one text file.
In ASA go under Advanced and use Report. This will bring up a little window where you can type in a command or use the dropdown menu to select one.
It's in this window that you type the multiple...
EC500 will send the original Caller's ID to the mobile phone. However, many SIP trunks do not allow outbound calls with an ORIGINATING Caller ID that does not belong on that trunk, so the call is denied by the carrier. This is pretty normal for SIP trunks.
One thing you can try is on the...
Your absolute best solution is to install a softphone app on the users' mobile phones and implement Remote Workers on your PBX. That way they can log into their extension when they are on call and you don't have to worry about EC500.
However, I'm guessing you don't have the budget for that, so...
On the Group Paging form, there is the Zip Tone Time (secs) field. Avaya recommends 7 seconds or more to ensure all sets are connected. You can set that to a minimum of 2 seconds, just be aware that it may be possible that not every phone will connect and activate the speaker phone.
It depends on how secure your network is. If you have remote workers that can log in their SIP phones from off-net, then you will want unique and somewhat difficult passwords. I've seen several systems that use the extension number as the password, which is really easy for moves and such but...
The simplest solution is probably to add a local copper trunk for 911. Add a SIP gateway, such as an AudioCodes MP-114 or anything similar that allows you to add the local trunk. Add specific routing for 911 at that location.
It's somewhat cheap and certainly cheesy, but can be effective...
I would export all SIP users via SMGR as an Excel workbook that you can then edit. Be sure to assign new Communication Profile Passwords since the old ones are not retained. If you don't know what the old password was, then you'll have to log each SIP phone in manually with the new password...
Your voicemail system may have the Find Me / Follow Me or similar feature that when the mailbox is called, will dial out to the specified number to announce the call.
Each person in the group has access to the mailbox to enter their mobile number as needed, allowing for flexibility and easy...
It looks like Coverage Path 152 is what's supposed to route unanswered calls to your vector.
Make sure Coverage Path 152 has "Vxxxx" as Coverage Point 1 and "H99" for Coverage Point 2.
The "V" means "cover to VDN " where "xxxx" is the VDN that runs the vector. I seem to recall that the station...
