CM 5.2 - Which Gateway will supply dial and ring tone?

For a remote office with only IP phones (no gateways or processor), how will CM 5.2 determine which gateway is the best option for providing dial and ring tones to the remote phones? I just deployed IP phones to a small office, and I'm surprised to see those phones attempting to use a gateway...

    Upgrade Failed

I just tried snowman50's suggestion of changing HTTP service from unsecure+secure to something else and then back to unsecure+secure again. Still no luck.

    Upgrade Failed

I have an IP500V2 running 9.1.4.0 build 137. I'm trying to upgrade it to 9.1.8.0 build 172. It fails the initial check on every module... "All selected units failed to transfer" I changed the "Monitor Password" to confirm I'm using the correct password. Still no luck. Any other suggestions?

Soft Phone Solution for IP Office 9.1

We recently had an Avaya IP Office 9.1 installed in a standalone location overseas. 125 Avaya 1608 H.323 phones. We now have a need to support 125 more users, but the new users only need a soft phone solution. I'm working with a foreign vendor and there is a language barrier. Can someone here...

H.323 Trunk between CM and IP Office - Missing Called Party ID

I have an H.323 tie trunk setup between CM 5.2 and IP Office 9.1. 4-digit-dialing works. The only issue I'm having is with the Called Party ID. When I place a call from a device on the CM 5.2 side, I do not get a Called Party ID on my phone's display. On the far end (IP Office 9.1) they see my...

CM Special App suddenly stopped working - SA8888 (Per Station Music On Hold)

We had SA8888 (Per Station Music On Hold) enabled and working for several months on CM 5.2. It has suddenly stopped behaving. The Special Application is still enabled, and we still see the "Music Source" field on station forms. However, the Tenant's music source has suddenly taken control again...

Extra digit being appended to Calling Party ID

IPO 9.1 with an ISDN PRI in US. When they dial out, the system is setting up Calling Party ID with an extra digit appended to the end. They originally reported it to me as "It's adding a 0 to the end of our number", but I have seen it append other random digits to the end of every Calling Party...

Caller ID and Incoming Call Routes

I have (2) Incoming Call Routes with the same destination. When the user makes an outbound call, how does the IP Office system determine which one will be used as the Caller ID? It is setting the calls up with the opposite of what we want. I'm not sure why it's choosing one over the other, but...

    ARS and Prefix Marks

At this particular location (34), the service provider (Windstream) still completes the local call with the leading 1. But at another location or ours, the service provider (TW Telecom) will deny the call with a "You do not need to dial the 1" type of error message.

    ARS and Prefix Marks

If I set Prefix Mark 1 on a route, CM is setting up 7 digit HNPA calls with a leading 1. I was under the impression Prefix Mark 1 would only setup the 1 on 10D FNPA. What am I missing?
