We have a couple 6140's setup as the same extension as desk phones for employees who are away from their desk often. If a call gets picked up at the desk, the 6140 will continue to ring untill you hit the end button. Then the phone resets itself. Anyone run into this problem?
CS100 Rel 6.0...
NN43001-260 is what I have found so far for changing IP's, and it seems to be a different version of the .pdf our vendor had. It references NN43001-315, but I had trouble finding a release 6.0 copy. How the heck can I get 10,000 results searching for NN43001-260 on avaya's site?

We can't even ping pbx to Signaling server, so we cant redistribute the security token, nor rejoin the security domain. The Call Pilot server pings both, and I can ping everything from my desktop PC.
Our vendor has a ticket open with Avaya, but due to schedule conflicts, won't be...
We have a CS1000 6.0 with Call Pilot 5.0 and IBM secutiry servers. Our infinately wise IS team has decided that we need to change one octet in our ELAN IP addresses.
We can change the ELAN on the switch and CallPilot, but once we get to the security servers and change IP info in...

I am going through the same thing right now...
I would look into a tester/analyzer that has the ability to flash the LED's on a switch. At my work, there was never any documentation or standardized labeling in the past, now I have a nightmare to try and straighten out. I have a Ideal cable certifier that will blink the switch port LED on a...
You should be fine with running your ground back to the secondary panel grounding bus. That secondary panel is what's distributing power to your outlets in the standalone building, so by grounding to that panel you are removing any potential ground difference.
I had the same AUD035 and AUD038 messages scrolling last week. We are in the middle of changing IP's on our Phone system and lost connection to our TM server. The tech who cleared the messages did the work while I was offstie so I don't know what steps he took. I will ask him next week when...
We use a Viking DNA-510, connected via an analog extension, with a lullaby recorded on it for when babies are born. It allows prerecorded messages to be played, as well as a live announcements.
What about changing a BCM50 that is acting as a SRG? Our main PBX and MCR sites all changed, but one site who is connected via a SRG is still showing an hour off.
