If your Nortel PBX missed the change from Daylight Saving to to Standard Time, this is what you should do in LD 2.

This applies to most of the USA. Other countries and certain areas may vary.

[tt]
>LD 2 <------------ Go to LD 2
TFC000
.FWTM 3 2 1 2 <---- type this at the dot, then
.BWTM 11 1 1 2 <--- type this at the dot, then
.SDST ON <--------- type this at the dot, and you're done

The format used when setting time and date in Overlay 2 (LD 2) is this:

.STAD dd mm yyyy hh mm ss

(dd=Date; mm=Month; yyyy=Year; hh=Hour; mm=Minute; ss=Seconds)
[/tt]

Now it will change next time around. The next change is March 13, 2011, where at 2AM, you change your clock to 3AM.

In November you cannot use the "forgot the change my alarm clock" to arrive late - because you would have arrived an hour early if you really forgot. As for March, well that's another story...use that excuse then.

What about changing a BCM50 that is acting as a SRG? Our main PBX and MCR sites all changed, but one site who is connected via a SRG is still showing an hour off.

Checked the BCM and it shows the proper time, but the IP phones registered there all show +1 hour

check ZDST in ld 117 and make the necessary correction for that zone
