You are getting super close...you have a VPIM index entry issue in callpilot or Unity
Make sure in Callpilot
you have the Unity site build and with the right VPIM index
On the Unity side they have to enter the VPIM index as well.
Run SMTP traces on both boxes. make sure you are sending...
Yes as a matter of fact I do
You need to set up the VPIM prefix for the call pilot site, adn for the cisco site (Different VPIM prefixes)
Make sure you have good FQDN for both sites ( you need to be able to ping by name back and forth)
Make sure port SMTP 25 is open ( telnet to that port to...
You are right, sad but true. I remember on OTM Nortel used to have a little utility that will help clean up these type of issues. I wonder if it will work on TM 3.0
We were able to make VPIM work from the CallPilot Box into the Cisco Unity voice Mail. We had to tweak the SMTP/VPIM index and the overlap. However We are still unable to receive messages from the Cisco Unity.

We got it. We needed to put an access code on the virtual route, and redirect the analog lines to the access code + an extension (in our case the Auto Attendant)
It is not working. When my phones are in normal mode, you do not see the assigned lines (The phone becomes a CS1000 phone)
We are still struggling with this thing.
Dear Nortel Gurus
I have an SRG 50 hanging off of a CS1000s, with 4 analog trunks on the SRG. I was able to get the outbound working on the SRG. I need your help with the inbound. I need a step by step on what is the trick for making the inbound workin on the SRG.
Thank you
You should schedule 6 to 10 hours to do this. The proper way to do this will be to do one core at a time card cage, clock controllers, and FIji. Make sure everythging is working on that core, switch, do the second core then join. (downtime will depend if your system is AC or DC) Good Luck
