At one time I could access Application Builder from my Laptop or desktop, but now I get
(Server not available, check connection)

Is this a LAN problem

I can access it from the OTM term.

I had that error once, while trying to import sound files. It is a general error message, it seems the development team must have been tired when it came to error messages. The reason why it displayed that for me was I was trying to import a wmv file that was not correctly converted to a wav.

Will this one won't let me get into the App Builder.

Have you patched your call pilot lately, if you did you might need a different version of AppBuilder

IF it is not a patch you may want to consider a reboot of the Call Pilot server. Maybe a service got shut off somewhere along the way?

When we upgraded to Call Pilot Version 4.0 (currently at version 04.04.04.12), app builder would not work until I got a newer version.

We are now using version CP404S02G05A which contains version 04.04.04.04 of Application Builder

It worked on OTM for me at first also, because they installed the newer version of AppBuilder on the OTM box when they did the upgrade to callpilot.

Hope this helps

If the CP is a 201i, you could also be suffering from the Virtual Memory leak issue. There is a patch for that too.

My version is 02.01.27.09

I haven't made any upgrades or changes, it's been working fine for the last 4 years.

To work, Application Builder requires the following server services;-

CallPilot LDAP Service
CallPilot AOS Service
FTP Publishing Service

Check these are all runnning.

Again it works if I use the OTM PC that has the Callpilot App on it, but not from my laptop or desktop 2 floors away.

ok missed that bit.

Check you have the exact same version of app builder on your lapdog as the server.

They were all loaded from the same CD and were working fine for 4 years, now it only works from the OTM PC. I'm the only person that works on any of them and I'm the only one with the passwords.
