PRI one way transmission on outgoing calls.

This may or may not help but I just had some very weird problems for a week or two on an IPO with a PRI; it wasn't audio problems but a lot of other static and issues, and after fighting diagnosing it for a week, I went there, and unplugged the AT&T equipment myself and left it for a few...

    SIP PCI compliance fail

I agree with CPM86. I'll get this with PCI scans and some devices and open ports. Often the client has to just put in the reasoning why that port is open and they will accept it and move on with the compliance certification.

    Audio problem on Twinned calls

I've had a lot of other things come up the last day, but I did look in URI and I may need to change some settings and test. I do have Keepalives enabled, with a periodic timeout of 30. This did work until we changed to a different kind of SIP trunk, although this client changes their network a...

    Audio problem on Twinned calls

Thanks to both of you. I kindof wondered about the URI setup. I will also check Keepalives.

    Audio problem on Twinned calls

We have an IPO running 11.1 at a client that has SIP trunks; some of the users twin to their cell phone. They notified me today that when someone calls through to the user's DID number and they answer the twinned call on their cell phone, neither party gets audio. If someone at an internal...

Group overflow in IP Office 11

And RocketJTech that is brilliant. I will end up doing it like that.

Group overflow in IP Office 11

Thank you all. This gives me some info to test with.

Group overflow in IP Office 11

I have a client using IPO 11.0 that has a collective call waiting hunt group set up. It has six members, and then overflows to another group with six members. After 50 seconds it always goes back to the voicemail of the first group, but the IT manager at that location is wanting to have the...

Issue putting an individual cover button on an extension

Thanks for the response, Merlinman. I do have WinSPM running on my newest work laptop, although I haven't had great luck connecting with it. You had basically echoed what I had found in the manuals (that it is best to just do through SPM), and I'll try that if I go back over there. Thanks for...

Issue putting an individual cover button on an extension

Sorry if this is answered somewhere else. I looked but didn't find it. I only have one Merlin Legend that I still work on, and very rarely work with this system. The manager is trying to put an individual cover button on one extension (x106) for his extension (x198). There is already a...

Upgrade IPO rel 9.1.800 to rel 11

Vorian, about your SCN question - all locations should be running the same release of R11. They may work if the versions aren't exact, but it's always recommended.

Merlin Legend - adding new extension

Thanks. I had had to do something like this a long time ago, and I was thinking it worked like that. I just couldn't seem to find anything in the manuals saying that.

Merlin Legend - adding new extension

Sorry if I missed an earlier post about this or if I'm missing something easy here, but I know how to renumber to swap extensions, but how do you just add a new extension in the system? For example, if you already have a port programmed as x140 but you want to program it as a completely new...

    Definity Access

Do you know if the system is connected to the network? You could use Putty set up for an Avaya session (mainly vt100 emulation / telnet) to log in to the system, but you would definitely need to know the username and password for the system. Some systems have custom users but many of them use...
