    At the server go into C:\Nortel\data and see if the locked file is there, if so delete it. This is where the locked files go! the folder should be empty. sporty2

    KCFLHRC That is correct I have a dedicated UCM security server that all elements are registered to. When this one EM element is launched none of the pwds will allow access, although they all work via putty. Any help would be welcome. Thanks, sporty2
