phantom problem with forward

Nortel CS1000E ... I have a phantom programmed to DCFW to users cell phone. When call cell directly the cell voice mail answers after 3 rings; but when calling our toll free number and entering users extension, it rings the cell but disconnects after 3 rings instead of going to the cell voice mail?
The CLS has CTD and CFXA, NCOS is 7. Example is I dial TFN 800-xxx-xxxx, recording says "if you know parties extension dial it now" I dial xxxx, it rings users cell but then drops after 3 rings instead of voice mail picking up.
 
It would seem that you're using callpilot to answer and transfer?

If the call is not going through callpilot, what is saying "if you know parties extension dial it now" ?

I am with 30N....

There is something on the toll free number that answers, gives a voice prompt then transfers.

IF this device is connected as extensions on the PABX, have a look at the CLS of its extensions for CFXA and FTTU.

The NCOS may be at issue as well. Either set an extension to NCOS 7 and test direct to the cell, or check in LD 49 for what it is allowed to dial.
 
Post the TNB of the phantom ext. That will help us. Also make sure you don't have a Mbox setup for the phantom Ext in CP.

I had this same problem last month. Our programming was good, but I had same result as you. Turned out it was an issue with the cell provider...I had to contact them and turn in a ticket with their tech support people
