Configure Greeting Table for Specific Hours

We have a part-time receptionist and I'm trying to configure the greeting table to only use the auto attendant from 9am to 1pm and then after business hours starting at 5pm. It's currently set to Morning: 9:00am, Afternoon: 12:00pm, Evening: 5:00pm, and After Hours: 5:00pm. Should I change the...

    Upload Voicemail Prompt File

Great! Thanks so much. The forwarding worked like a charm.

    Upload Voicemail Prompt File

I'm working to resolve an issue remotely and I'm trying to upload a WAV file with a new greeting prompt. I'm using Call Pilot manager built into the BCM50. I can select the file and select send. It looks like its processing, but doesn't import the file. What am I doing wrong? Alternatively...

Program Nortel T7316 Line Assigments to Specific Memory Buttons

Ok. Thanks. I'll just rework the labels for the T7316s.

Program Nortel T7316 Line Assigments to Specific Memory Buttons

We inherited some T7316s that have line assignments programmed to memory buttons 4-6. I'e tried to change them, but I'm struggling to figure out how to do so. How can I change which buttons are used for the line assignments?

Cisco Directory XML Config for non-CM setup

I was able to get it to work. I had to change the permissions on the directory to 777.

Cisco Directory XML Config for non-CM setup

I'm testing out a third party VOIP system on a Cisco 7940G. I'm trying to configure the Corporate Directory listing using an XML file I'm hosting on a TFTP server. I'm using the built-in TFTP server on my Mac to test the setup. I've pointed the TFTP server IP on the 7940G to my mac's IP. I've...

BCM 50 Hunt Group Overflow to Voicemail

The way we are setup right now is that if no one answers the phones (no HGs) then it plays greeting 1 and goes to VM. 224 is the attendant associated with the greeting table. Is this configuration is the general delivery mailbox the one that is used or would it be 224? Maybe once I get that...

BCM 50 Hunt Group Overflow to Voicemail

Curlycord- I did as you suggested and I get a message "Ext" and if I don't enter anything it switches to "Not Available" then my phone hangs up. Maybe I just need to change the message on 100 to a general mailbox. I'm not sure how to add a message indicator though to our office manager's phone...

8 licenses in all. We don't have any extra licenses.

BCM 50 Hunt Group Overflow to Voicemail

No, we don't have IP sets. We have digital. We have 8 sets. Everyone has their own VM.

BCM 50 Hunt Group Overflow to Voicemail

Sorry for the confusion. What I want is for the unanswered calls from certain HG to go to the general mailbox. When I set the overflow to 334 for one of the HGs and have the HG setup as an alternative extension on the general delivery mailbox the caller is prompted to select an extension to...

BCM 50 Hunt Group Overflow to Voicemail

When I pointed the overflow to the DN of the CallPilot for question #2 I get the general delivery mailbox system message, but not the standard voicemail that we get prior to setting up the CCR. How to I get the overflow to that mailbox? It's not 100 which is the general delivery mailbox and it...

BCM 50 Hunt Group Overflow to Voicemail

Surprising, adding the HG as an alternate extension to an existing mailbox seems to work. I was a little surprised, but happy it did.

BCM 50 Hunt Group Overflow to Voicemail

Thanks. Unfortunately, we don't have any additional vm licenses to setup any additional mailboxes. I read somewhere that we can forward the HG to the VM DN and add the HG DN as an alternate extension to one of the vm that we have set up. I haven't tried it yet and based on what the above I doubt...
