Hi Folks, My customer wants to change his mailbox COS on the Flash so message length can be reduced. People keep leaving really long messages, and the mailbox gets filled up fast! Will a new COS fix this? Which COS would work best? I can't seem to find my manual for the Flash! Thanks!

That's what I thought...but will the Auto Attendant or CCR answer with a greeting? The customer wants this to be invisible to both customer and caller. In other words, if a fax comes in, the system knows to route it to the ATA. If a regular call comes in, the system just rings like a normal...

Also, make sure that you make your Control Set change from the actual default Control Set! (Normally 221) I have had this problem in the past...

Try to call the ata extension number with a butt-set or analog telephone...make sure the analog extensions are working properly first, and if so, then move on to the fax machines. Are your MCK ports dedicated? If so, make sure that they match on each side...

My guess is the hotline feature, with aux ringer programmed to trip a switch...
