Hi
My wife has a Dell Studio laptop that has a matte finish 17.5" display. I'm spoiled by the 24" display on my PC.
It seems to work well and be pretty trouble free once we got one that worked. I had to take the first one back because it wouldn't boot.
they sell them at Best Buy and it's a...
Hi
I don't think there is a way to do that.
I don't know of any file that Photoshop can make that will be editable in Indesign. I feel your pain, 150 pages is a lot of work.
If I had to do that I would probably place the Photoshop Pages and then construct the Indesign ones on a layer above...
Hi
I did this one by just constructing the grid with drag in guides and then drew 3 ellipsis starting with the largest.

It only took a couple of minutes forget the outline thing.
This is very easy, just make sure that you get the...
Draw the grids by starting in the corner and drag across to the opposite one."
That's supposed to say "Draw the Ellipses by starting in one corner and dragging to the other.
If you are not seeing the stroke it's because you haven't assigned a color to it.
Look at the picture of the box and the outline at the bottom of the controls palette.
Hi

You have to make sure that the width of the space between all the ovals are exactly the same both in hight and width.
If you look closely you will see that mine are not exactly I was in a hurry. But if you are careful you can get it right...
Ps
The reason that transform doesn't work is because the ellipse that you are resizing inside the original ellipse is proportional i.e. the long dimension changes more then the short dimension, so they don't end up concentric.
You can only do it that way with a circle which has equal...
Hi
http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/8554/oval.png
Draw you oval, add a stroke the width you want the second oval to be on the outside.
Drag guides to indicate where you want the center oval to fit. I use a little black box (visible in the image) as a gauge to make sure the width is the...
Hi
I have been trying to do this too!
I haven't found a solution, I was starting to think that it may be possible with some sort of .bat file that tells it to play x.wav at a certain point in the boot cycle but I haven't done the research yet.
I have my own sound scheme that I have used for...
Hi
I have a question how do you import a video into Photoshop as layers? I didn't know you could do that!
Are you creating the new clips in Photoshop frame by frame?
I have done animations in Photoshop frame by frame that I exported to ImageReady to make into a video.
So maybe you could...
Very funny! [thumbsup]

Hi
There must be some glitch with some of my fonts.
They show up and are installed, they print out but they still show the pink box in Indesign.
I'll avoid then anyway just to be on the safe side.
Mike
Hi
I just switched to Indesign CS4 and I'm having a pink box show up around some of my type.
Write now I'm trying to type in a head line for the dust jacket for a new book I'm putting together and no matter what I do it persists in showing the pink bg box around the type.
I can't find...
Hi
This drives my crazy too!
What I did was to install Classic Shell.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/classicshell/
It solved a couple of problems I had with Windows 7.
I didn't like the start menu either, all that scrolling up and down.
Classic Shell makes both the start menu and the...
Hi
Create the shape in Photoshop. Select the object, in the paths palette click create working path.
Next still in the paths pallet select save path.
Now you can make it a clipping path, I'm not sure this step is necessary but it won't hurt.
Save by exporting Paths to Illustrator.
You may...
