Sean - thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately, I removed the associated extensions for the announcements, so no way to delete the recordings themselves.
Also, don't have the installation media - our changeover from tape to server was done by an external company on contract and they kept all the...
I have all stations removed, dial plans cleared, all trunks removed, only thing left is the PPN/EPN.
Any further recommended actions? I see in the Integrated Management webpage under the server section, there is a 'restore defaults' - would that wipe out any remaining information in the switch...
Absent any feedback, I've reverted to removing stations programmed to the EPNs.
Error message from 'remove cabinet x' command is 'cabinet has translations'. Cabinets show ports in use on maintenance, call classifier and/or announcement boards. I have removed all announcements from system...
Hello all -
Equipment is G3RV12, S8700, CM 2.2. We have transitioned to VOIP and need to decommission the Avaya for turn in. We are not under maintenance support / contract.
Can anyone advise the process for stripping all the data from the Avaya prior to final shutdown?
Any help is...
It was in the UDP after all. Had to set the range to "ARS" and was able to get a call through the Avaya and out to the VoIP stack.
I've got a couple more hurdles to get over, though - prior to all this, we had set up a number on the Avaya in the 1000 block for use as a 'dummy/transfer' number...
As the subject stated:
Avaya Definity G3R running CM 2.2. We are transitioning to VoIP and have a tie trunk between the Avaya and VoIP stack. Avaya dialplan range is 3000-6999. VoIP DN pool is 0000-2999. Dialplan and UDP have the 1000 series set up as extensions as a test to attempt...
Avaya Definity G3R, CM 2.2
Situation - integrating trunk between VOIP stack and Avaya, trying to create call in patterns for trunk/trunk transfer to local cell service.
Stations are created as 4 digit extensions. Trunks are set to absorb the first 3 incoming digits. If the absorption is...
Corrected the inbound digits issue by absorbing on the trunk side, so that is taken care of for at least normal calls. Will have to work on it some more to handle transfer calls to a subsidiary site.
From what I've been able to find through online sources, it's not going to be possible to do...
Ideally, would like to change things where either 7 digit or 4 digit dialing would work
I was able to fix the outbound digits transferred by modifying the public unknown numbering
In my most recent thread, I was setting up an E1 ISDN link between our local Avaya and a Cisco router. We've gotten the devices talking but we are having calling issues.
Running trace tac, the original call attempts from outside only showed the first two digits coming in; local number pool is...
After many trials and tribulations, we've got the Avaya talking to the Cisco - it was a matter of finding matching configs between the two devices.
I have a new issue that I'll be posting another thread about, but I wanted to drop back in and thank everyone for their help - your comments led me...
I've used PBX as peer-master (gives me the TTC stuff which I don't really know what it is, to be honest) and IIRC correctly I've also tried host and user - but that was without the QSIG.
Just tried the QSIG setup again, upon trying to set protocol B on the signalling channel, I get an error of...
Matt - thanks for responding. QSIG is a 'value added' thing, isn't it? I tried doing some sort of QSIG thing at one point of this and it wouldn't let me because we didn't have it set/licensed (and we won't be able to, either - no maintenance contract on the switch).
Can you advise what...
