    It will delete itself after the retention period is up. If you didn't adjust, the default is 30 days. Or you can use Exchange System Manager and drill down to the store, find the mailbox and right clicking select purge.

    In Exchange System Manager, you can create a new smtp address in recipient policies and apply it to all the users. You can set the new address as the primary and leave the old one in place if needed.

    Are you setup to retain deleted messages? You can go to the recovery folder and purge from there. You can also remove exchange attributes from her account and delete her mailbox since all messages have been deleted anyway. Then create a new one.

    I have used ADSI edit in the past to make the display name change after it failed using the rename wizard. Microsoft has a technet doc describing the problem.

    Is the client configured to use Word as email editor. If so you might change to HTML or Rich Text to help identify where the problem is originating.
