This was an upgrade from a v1 to a v2. We transferred licenses; but kept cards and cabinets from the old system.
Additionally, how would the system be able to tell that it is an upgrade as opposed to a new install? what is triggering the system to know to...
I am trying to setup a user with a softphone on a windows laptop using an IP Office running 9.1.4.0.
Avaya says it is no longer supported in 9.1; however, I have it working perfectly on an IP Office running 9.1.3.
Support says that I need to use communicator now, which has almost 0...

I cant find documentation on changing the amount of rows for the softkeys at the bottom of the screen.
I found a document that gives instructions on how to change this; but the instructions dont match up to what I see on the physical phone.

We have a client with an IP500v2 running the latest version of 9.0, and Embedded Voicemail.
They want to have the ability to call in remotely and turn on and off their forwarding for a specific extension.

I have swapped 2 user's offices and the phone lines are punched down onto 66 blocks that go into the BCM. This makes it much harder if I have to go onsite to physically move the punch downs. Is there a way to swap the ports in the system?

I have an IP500V1 with a bad power supply. I am trying to repair it, and possibly put in a power supply from a spare IP500V2 that i have.
For the most part they look identical; however the part number in the V1 is 46YPW0002UKAA and in the V2 it is 46YPW0002UKAB.
