Our voip provider lets us set Caller ID to whatever we want via the "SIP Name" field on each user account in IP office.
Is there a way we can forward calls, and send the original caller ID as SIP Name?
I saw something similar where you added SSI to an ARS w/ a new forwarding shortcode.
But that...
We are on R9,
It adds up quickly when you consider we need All new phones, new software from Datel, and developer time to fix all our custom CRM integrations.
I ended up signing up for RingCentral, and forwarding our main support line there.
Maybe if I like it I'll ditch Avaya all together...
Just found out we can't get R9 licenses, is there any way around that?
Really need to add some power users to our system, and can't do an upgrade right now.
I ended up just forwarding the 1800 number to my line to see what they were doing.
They don't say or dial anything, just sit there driving up our phone bill ?
Anyway I setup a disconnect so that will solve the issue,
Thanks for the help everyone.
Have something weird going on where a bunch of people are calling one of our toll free numbers and seem to just be sitting in the auto attendant menu.
(At least as far as I can see from system status)
How do I setup call recording on an Auto Attendant?
I tried adding voice recording to the...
Does this look like the right idea?
I found the transfer menu lets you use the $DBD[0], which is the data returned by SQL.
VMpro let me save that, I haven't actually put anything in SQL connection yet, does that mean we don't need the license?
I think we are on 9.0, where do I check?
Our VM Pro Client is Version 9.0.4.0, but IP Office Manager is Version 10.0.0.1
I was told we can't upgrade to R10 because our 5410 phones are not supported.
I don't have the "Advanced" license yet, so I can't test this.
But this is what I'm hoping we can do:
A call comes into vm pro
VM pro sends the CLI to a sproc we create in our database
the sproc returns an extension
Vmpro transfers the call to the extension the DB just returned.
The part I'm...
I was already going to use Twilio for the SMS side of this,
after reading how easy doing phone through them would be, I'll probably end up using them for both.
Thanks,
Justin
We have a website and we want to add "We don't recognise your computer" (Like your bank website probably has).
Then have our system call a user and read them a code.
Does our IP office 500 v2 have an API that would enable us to do this?
I'm trying to setup our IP office so users can dial for an outside line, and it will use one of our 2 VOIP lines if they are available, otherwise the call will go out on our PRI.
We already have ARS 50 setup for the PRI, this works fine
We already have ARS 51 setup for the VOIP, this works...
