Thanks, but that's part of the issue. The database does not have login credentials to enter so I shouldn't have to enter anything. If I schedule it, it runs without issue, it only prompts for a login if I try to run it on demand.
Absolutely correct Turkbear, I do have some reports I don't use my business views for. In my specific case, I don't have the knowledge (or access) to create views from my databases so I love being able to take full advantage of the business view capabilities. Your specific reporting needs...
When we upgraded from CR9 to CRXI, the only issue I ran into was with the data dictionary from 9. XI doesn't have the data dictionary, it uses what they call a business view instead (personally I like the business view a little better). If you currently use a data dictionary, I believe there...
So not quite sure what I did, but I tried this report again in BO Enterprise and it appears to be working now when I schedule it.
To be specific, I decided to try it again. I went back to my original reports written against the ODBC connection I had initially created. I reset the datasource...

Just a little hint. When we changed to CRXI here from CR9, the powers that be decided to make me responsible for the entire server (which I had no experience in) instead of just writing reports. I got myself "The Complete Reference Crystal Reports XI" and it has been an invaluable tool. I...
I assume you are trying to connect to an existing report. Have you tried creating the connection with a blank/new report? Do you get the same error? I have a couple of reports written against an access 2007 db but they were new, I have not tried converting an existing report that was written...
In CRXI you can create a business view on Enterprise. Personally I love them and they are very simple to create and if you have a lot of different tables you regularly report off of, they are extremely useful. Basically you have a central place where you pull in all of your tables and link...
I have a report created with an FoxPro OLE DB datasource. When I run the report in developer on my local machine, I do not get prompted for a login and the report runs successfully. When I save the report out to InfoView and try to view it, I get prompted for a login and anything I enter is...
