Hello,
We brought back a bad DS30V2 to the shop to flash. I followed the instructions http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1659264 and http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=7085
The unit boots up, it accepts the AT-X2 and AT-X1 commands, but I do not see it trying to retrieve the files...
Unfortunate update, I bypassed the router and the phone came up. Is there any setting in the phone to tell it that it is behind a NAT and ensure that it uses the Public IP?
It seems that alot of people hit similar issues and had to setup a DMZ on the home router.
Hey,
I can't seem to get this to work. I had NAT forwarded at first, and I could see the registration requests on port 1719, but I saw the responses going to the local address of the IP Phone (10.0.1.48) instead of the Public address (69.200.243.12).
I moved the IP500 to a proxy on a static...
Thank you all for your help. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I knew there was too much knowlege on this forum to not be able to solve such a fundamental issue.
Thank you again.
yea, i think i will end up doing it through the AA...
kwing, what button are you using to set night early?
On a side note, I don't understand why such an advanced phone system as Avaya is lacking fundamental night service. Even on the CM they have a night button, but no time profiles for...
Thank you. I think that will accomplish what I am looking for. What button do you use to set night before? And can that button be used to open the office early or keep open late?
Thanks again,
Jerry
Hey,
Thanks for the quick response.
I thought about that, but the problem is the customer usually likes to see a button light up when it is on night mode that they can toggle.
I think what I am going to do is just have a huntnightserv to turn the auto attendant on and off based on a time...
Good Evening,
I am trying to determine the best way to accomplish this call flow scenario as it is one that I hit quite often.
Call comes in, rings hunt group, goes to Auto Attendant. After hours, call goes straight to Night Auto Attendant. On Holidays, call goes straight to Holiday Attendant...
Hey Riddle,
I got the one with the wrong password working. I found the MV_IPTel that someone had installed on our network to change the password and found the file and changed it back to craft.
I still cannot seem to do anything with the one phone that does not even have a "* to Program" option...
Hey,
Thanks for the quick responses. I tried no password on it, also no good. I think either someone changed it or it got corrupted?
On the second phone, I cant even get into craft to change it to DHCP. And I cant even get the phone on to see what the current settings are.
To do the updates, I...
Thanks again Riddle! Star for you!
I have 3 phones up and running so far (going one at a time just because I dont feel like looking for another power brick and my POE switch is already full).
I have hit 2 that I am stuck on though.
1) The craft password doesnt work. I think I will trick it into...
Don't ask me how, but I got the 9640 working. I deleted the files off the flash and reloaded them. Cleared the 9640 and let it do one more update and it seemed to come up fully functional. Now I just got to figure out how the hell I did this so I can do it for the rest of them. I really hope...
Thanks Riddle. I changed it to DHCP and it upgraded sucessfully! Except now it keeps rebooting... When it fires up it keeps trying to get the 96xxupgrade and 96xxsettings and ha96xx, hb96xx. I tried deleting those from the compact flash and it still would try and then reboot. So i put it back to...
Thanks Andrew.
Oh, I forgot to mention that in the 9640 the fileserver address will not stick. It keeps reverting to 0.0.0.0. That is why I started using the MV_IPTEL
