When installing the CICS I added a UPS Backup to provided power and a surge protection when the power goes out. Last week the system lost its memory and I had to restore from NRU. Has anyone heard of a problem with the CICS losing its programming? Or a problem hooking it up to a back UPS?
IS there a way in the CICS with 7.1 software using a callpilot 100 to setup tranfer to go to the station first and then after so many rings go to voicemail? Also then if That station is on DND it goes to voicemail right away. I do not want it to ring back to the station that answered the phone.
I have a call pilot and a CICS with 7.1 software. I need to setup in the CCR tree a external transfer as option number 4 to dial a 800 number to order supplies. I added a link transfer to dial out on line 4 the 800 number. THe problem is when I try it in the VM home node and prees 4 the number...
Use a crossover cable to access the Call Pilot. Also to intialize a new call pilot make sure you have it hooked up to the ICS. Once inside the call pilot with a browser. You can setup the CCR and Auto attendant and the company greetings
Can Caller ID be programmed to show up on a station that is not ringing? I like only the secretaries phone to ring but if I hear it see who is calling.
I know NRU 11 works with the CICS 7.1 but will the NRU 10 work as well. I know NRU 11 has more features but will NRU 10 work at least to back up the system.
