NRU 10 with CICS

I know NRU 11 works with the CICS 7.1 but will the NRU 10 work as well. I know NRU 11 has more features but will NRU 10 work at least to back up the system.

I believe it will, you probably just need the proper 'MAP' file. I prefer NRU 10 myself.

Ok Im alittle new to this what is a MAP file?

Files under sub directory MAPS with extension as xxxx.map .

Without proper map files , older NRU will bomb when you tried to access with newer CICS/MICS version.

Is there anywhere I can find the proper .map files to make it work properly? I have the NRU 10 installed and I see the MAPS directory

According to the Compatibility chart you need NRU 11.

OK..Which is it? Has anyone used the NRU 10 with the CICS 7.1 ? IF you have can you tell me where to find the .map files or a copy of NRU 11.
